The sounds are generated from a skateboard-transformed object and a no-input feedback loop. The physical appearance of the object and the way it is performed have a reference to Guqin, a Chinese traditional instrument, which had been favored by poets and philosophers in history. The partially romantic idea is also partially subversive when the extremely manipulated sound coming from the object destroys its own visual and psychological associations.
