To Die For
Text on tower windows
For the nighttime at Catwalk Institute, Catskill Mountains, USA
What is it that is so important or desirable to die for? Is it to perish for the benefit or glory of something or someone? Who is going to die for it, you or me or he or she? Is it absolutely worth dying for? Yes, it is. But most likely, nobody is really going to die. Desire or responsibility, comedy or tragedy, the phrase ‘to die for’ insinuates entwined plots of opposite kinds.
